Dentures and Partials

Dentures and Partials

Dentures are removable appliances that may help restore your smile by replacing lost teeth. If you've lost the whole of your natural teeth due to gum disease, decay, or an accident, having them replaced can enhance your appearance as well as your health. That is because dentures enable you to eat and communicate more effectively than you could without teeth—abilities that many people take for granted.

Why Should You Get Dentures?

Dentures may help you achieve a more balanced look on your face and profile. They may be constructed to closely mimic your original teeth, resulting in little changes to your look. Dentures may even help you achieve a more attractive grin. Your facial muscles may sag if you lose all of your teeth, giving you the illusion of being older.

Benefits of Dentures

Easily Removable
Did you know that both partial and complete dentures are removable? If you dislike the concept of a permanent fixture in your mouth, the ability to remove dentures will benefit you.

Natural and Lightweight
Unlike their conventional counterparts, modern dentures are made of a lightweight material that has a natural appearance. They'll enhance the appearance of your grin.

Economical
Dentures may be considered a cost-effective choice compared to alternative treatments such as bridges or dental implants.

Benefits Your Smile
Replacing your teeth with dentures results in a stunning grin and boosts your self-confidence. Dentures may support facial features by avoiding drooping cheeks and missing teeth.

Dentures Placement Procedure

Usually, a denture placement procedure involves the following steps:

Pre Denture Visit
The initial visit will be to ensure that the gums and soft tissue are healthy and prepared to receive the new teeth.

Adjustment of Denture Length and Plane
The second appointment is when the length of the new teeth is determined in relation to the patient's mouth. Our dental experts will ensure that the upper and lower teeth are properly aligned to provide an optimum fit for the denture.

Try-In of Denture Wax
On the third visit, our dentist will replace the loose tray with the final plastic teeth. The final set will have the appearance and feel of a denture.

Your fourth visit will conclude with you departing with a fully installed brand new set of dentures.
Making dentures is a one-of-a-kind technique that is suited to each person. To learn more about how long it takes to produce dentures or the operation itself, give us a call. We can review the many denture alternatives and assist you in determining which is best for you.
